The Peugeot is finally ready for its official racing debut. The 9X8 Hybrid will make its racing debut at the 6h of Monza, bringing the fight to Toyota, Glickenhaus and Alpine. Although it might look similar to the concept 9X8 (or the launch car), many aspects have changed. Most noticeable are the front splitter, side mirrors, rear bumper and the winglets on the rear deck. This mighty hypercar is powered by a 2.6-liter twin-turbo V6 engine producing 671 HP. Combined with a 900v electromotor of 268 hp, the french lion will attempt a victory at the 24h of Le Mans in 2023, but with competition increasing with Porsche and Ferrari (and Cadillac perhaps as well), it will be a tough fight.
The model
I already made the launch version of the Peugeot 9X8. While looking similar, it essentially is a completely new model, but being an evolution of the same car, they look quite similar. If you have built the 9X8 prototype, this will feel quite similar, with the rear being the most different, as it is a complete new assembly. You can build the interior BOTH in lime or vibrant yellow, whatever you like, although the real car doesn’t have this anymore, so black is also an option.

Stickers
Brickstickershop has provided again a high quality stickersheet that is precut and numbered, and are available HERE. The car includes 42 stickers for car #93 and a 2 stickers for a single driver minifig, you can build 1 of the 3 drivers of car #93, these being from top to bottom: Jean Eric Vergne, Paul Di Resta and Mikkel Jensen. Apart from the Peugeot badge and name logo on the nose and rear ducktail, every sticker is brand new, even the headlights have been redone. The cockpit sticker is also an evolution of the previous wrap-around stickers used on the Peugeot 905, Porsche 956 and Jaguar XJR-9 LM, being a single stickers, that wraps the cockpit on both sides. This is the most sticker-heavy model to date, and if you don’t like to apply all of them, you can leave out some of them (the black ones on top of the front fenders, steering wheel, rear winglets). They are mostly small stickers, the largest being the 2×4 tiles and the cockpit sticker. Feel free to ask any questions.
