“Continuing the yeah with the Porsche theme. This time I have tackled a much more modern Porsche. This is the Porsche 911 Turbo S 992! Many great models already exist of modern Porsches. So I found it hard to bring something new to the table. For the shoulder lines I took some inspiration of TheGbrix’s fantastic 911 moc. The way he did the shaping for that part was just perfect. I did want to come up with an original design for the headlight so I designed them with the help of some cheese slopes and round tiles. I think it works pretty well. Looks a bit weird from some angles but I didn’t wanna copy some of the other ways these headlights have been replicated. These headlights do have one drawback. As you can see the round 1×1 tiles are placed with the help of some brackets. And these brackets do catch a little on the wheels which does have an effect on speed and handling! 😅 Still I’m pretty happy with this model. It also fits 2 minifigs which is always a good thing.”   – By the author
