This model is an updated and modified version of my Porsche 963 LMDh launch car

DISCLAIMER: This set uses a variety of brand new pieces  / recolours that are currently quite rare. It is therefore recommended to get the Lego Speed Champions 76916 Porsche 963 for parts.
This moc includes a partslist to build ONE of 2 liveries. instructions for both are included, as well as what parts differ, see ‘model’

The Car

The Porsche 963 is the brand new challenger of the prancing horse from Stuttgart to tackle both the WEC and IMSA championship for victories. The 963 is the successor to the 919 Hybrid LMP1 car, which last raced since 2017. The Hypercar is powered by a  4.6 liter V8 twin turbo engine. The design language of the 963 goes even further back than just the 919, as it is based on the victorious 956 and 962 classics from the 1980s. It also features design trends of the current 911 992 series, the continuous led strip, and the characteristic light units from the Taycan are used as well. It’s a Porsche thru and thru. The WEC (and imsa as well) features  2 works cars sporting a black (car #5) and white (car #6) livery. 

The Model
with new parts and recolours every now and then, better accuracy and builds can be achieved, as is the case here. The updated model uses many new parts found in the 76916 set such as the headlights and the sharkfin. Additionally, with the new sharkfin build, brickbuilt exhausts are now part of the design, using the newer baby-snot pieces. With this model, you can build BOTH liveries of the 963, the white one and the black one. For each a seperate instruction pdf is included. The parts are identical, but 6 parts swap from black to white between the 2 models. the partslist here on rebrickable is set for the BLACK LIVERY version. If you want to build the white version, the following 6 parts need to be swapped:

Brickstickershop has provided stickersheets for BOTH liveries: car #5 with black trim and car #6 with white trim. The stickers now include the full WEC entry livery, with starting numbers and correct livery. Additionally, the stickersheets also work (mostly) with the older design. Only the sharkfin stickers and exhausts are not compatible.
