“The Car

The 1961 Corvette C1 was one of the final production variants of the C1 line, with an updated rear bumper closely resembling the early stages of the C2 model.
the model

The model is a direct smaller version of the 10321 Icons Corvette set, and a modification of my 1959 Corvette C1 model. The chassis, entire rear and front grille have been reworked, and the interior has been swapped to black to match the Icons set. It still features the same dimensions as my original model. A fun fact: the same piece has been used for the headlights as the Icons set (barraki eye piece). The model can be built in the following colours: Black, dark gray, light gray, white, red & dark red.
The model can also be built with a hard top on, but personally I prefer the convertible look.  ALL lime pieces can be ordered in any colour and will not be visible.

A bonus tip: If you own the modular Downtown Diner, the Corvette is a great display piece (although a bit larger than city scale ofcourse).
