“When Bugatti revealed there new flagship hypercar last week I pretty much immediately got the drive to build it. As I’m usually a bit behind on trends. And now we are only a week later and I can already share with you guys my replica of the Bugatti Tourbillon!

This one was all kinda of tricky. Despite its similarities to the Veyron and especially the Chiron (which I’ve also built), I decided to approach this one in a totally different way. I decided to work with a standard windscreen piece as the model was gonna be very flat. So a brick built roof wouldn’t work if minifigs had to fit in it. I also decided to use a mudguard to recreate the horseshoe grill. This technique has also been used on other Tourbillon mocs and it really suits the more pronounced and wide grill of the Tourbillon.

The rear lights where the biggest challenge. The whole rear design is incredibly curvy and I knew from the start that it wasn’t gonna translate to 8 wide very well. So I put the main focus on the headlights and found that these curved horns create the perfect shaping. Definitely one of my favourite elements about this moc. Along with the C-line which I managed to work in really nicely, and the axes that work as the silver lines in the front grilles. These bits alone make it worthy enough for my best Bugatti build to date.

And as a bonus, it does indeed fit 2 minifigs (though that comes at the cost of a detailed interior) and is rock solid!

Included are parts for the version you see in the above images. And I included an extra set of instructions and parts list to make it with a dark blue back end.
