After I updated the Supernatural Impala, it was time to give my second most popular creation, the Eleanor Mustang, a makeover.
I didn’t do too much to the exterior, just made the rear fenders a bit slimmer.
But under the surface you’ll find a lot of changes. I used technic parts to create a way more solid hinge mechanism for the tilted roof and rear windscreen section. I drastically improved the model’s overall stability in multiple areas.

For a long time I’d been planning to build an 6-wide Eleanor but after Carbohydrates’ brilliant rendition I always postponed that project. 🙂 Now I changed the scale and I designed this iconic beauty in 8-wide. I designed the car with completely detailed interior and thanks to the larger scale the model supports two minifigs.
