“:::: 2023 UPDATE ::::

I Just added the 2023 droid update as seen on the Trailer of Season 3 of the Mandalorian.
To stay somewhat organized i added it as a new MOC but everyone who purchase(d) this moc will get access to all the files (and vice versa).
JUST TO MAKE IT CLEAR, YOU ONLY NEED TO PURCHASE EITHER ONE TO GET FULL ACCESS TO EVERYTHING.
This is the way.I am very proud to finally present you my take on The Mandalorian Din Djarins new custom modded N-1 Naboo Starfighter seen in The Mandalorian Season 3 The Book of Boba Fett Episode 5I was a big fan of the old original N1 seen in Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace since i first saw it in theaters back in 1999. I immediatly fell in love with this redesign, its absolutly wizard like a bantha. 😉  So i could not resist to do my version of this beautiful ship.I love how they took that iconic design and gave it a very custom Star Wars-esque new touch to it. I especially loved how its a bit asymetrical, for example there is a lot less plating on the left engine compared to the right engine, there are slight color variations, etc etc. I tried to work these beautiful design aspects into my version.

It is a super sturdy build – almost like a official Lego set. It got playtested by a 8 year old for 30 minutes without breaking anything.

Its 36 studs long and can easily fit a minifig and a baby – so Mando and Grogu (or BD-1) can easily go on a joyride together.

Its also very unexpensive, the total coast are less then 40 dollars and the pieces are easy to get.

I recently added an additional display stand for this model – that can be easily adapted to hold pretty much anything else –  that can be found here. Once you purchase the model you can also find a xml-partslist with all the necessary parts for Mandos N1 and the display stand so you can get all the parts for both together in one order.

Its a unexpensive build, it should cost around 3 USD or 2.5 Euros.

As always, I hope you enjoy the build!

::: MINOR UPDATE (oct 06th 2022) :::
A noticed a steep price increase of one of the parts on the under side to 1.7 USD, making it very expensive, rare and hard to aquire. i changed out the part and had to do a very small redesign of the under side. I looks very similar to the original design but its a lot easier and a lot cheaper to order the parts now.

::: Engine update by user REBEĿĿ (march 26th 2022) :::
Rebrickable user REBEĿĿ was so kind and shared his custom engine mod with me that i liked so much that i decided to show to you. A updated xml-partslist and a extended instruction pdf are available.
Unfortunatly its a bit more expensive. It is sturdy but not as sturdy as the original design. But it will look amazing when you have the N-1 on display. If you like you can give hime a like and check out his amazing darksaber moc

::: (minor) COSMETIC IMPROVEMENTS (February 16th 2022) :::

I added a few details to the Model, nothing to crazy but it makes it a bit more sceen accurate.

I added some details to the tail section.
I added the printed tiles with the turbine print to the front of the engines (same as on the 75325 The Mandalorian’s N-1 Starfighter).
I added the little side engines/trusters.
I did hide the blue pins below the wings.

If you already purchased the model you will find a xml-partslist with the cosmetic changes only to download so you dont have to manually compare what parts you would need.

::: STABILITY IMPROVEMENTS (February 7th 2022) :::

After a missing order i finally finished the build of my own N1 Starfighter. I am quite happy with the actual build as a display piece but this is not enough for me and my standards. I want it to be a display piece just as much as i want kids to be able to play with it without the fear of breaking it.

Overall its already a very sturdy build but there are 3 weak points: The wobbly engines, the tail at the end, and a hull stability issue at the nose.

Luckily i was able to fix everything and turn it into a playset with 7 very common pieces. I already made the changes to the inventory and uploaded the new instructions.

1) Front hull stability
Add two 6×2 plates (piece number 3795 – color does not matter tho i added dark blueish grey to the inventory) to connect the 6×4 wedge piece in the very front to the second wedge piece at the bottom.

2) Tail at the end
Its a 1 stud connection only, so simply add a 3L bar (piece number 87994 – color does not matter tho i added light blueish grey to the inventory) to the Technic Pin and put the cone piece back over it.

3) Wobbly engines
To fix this simply change all 4 Technic Pin 3L (piece number 32556) in tan with Technic Pin 3L (piece number 6558) in blue.”   – By the author
